Lisa Davidoff is a trained teacher and private educator with over forty years of experience. Lisa has worked in both public and private settings. Her classroom experience includes middle and high school levels in both New York City and New Canaan, CT. Her private tutoring practice has been in existence for over twenty years. Lisa has been trained in several literacy programs through the Windward Teacher Training Institute (WTTI) including Ortin-Gillingham Reading / Preventing Academic Failure, and Basic Writing Skills. Lisa also prepares students for standardized tests: ISEE, and the Verbal part on the SAT/ACT to name a few. She works with students and families in college admissions consulting. She holds a B.S. in Education with a minor in Special Education and a Master's in Secondary Education with a mathematics concentration from St. John's University. Lisa is a mom of four children, all of whom have graduated from Harrison H.S.  Lisa resides in Harrison with her husband Brad, and their two small dogs.
